Plans I Have For My Blog

I began this blog a little over a week ago, and I think it’s time for me to give a better idea of what I am planning to do with it.

To begin with, here is a schedule of when I am planning to post and what they will include.

Monday
This day my posts will have varied topics. Some things they will include are: discussion posts, posts about parts of myself that relate to books, and research I did on a book (its author, a place in it, a food, a bit about the history in the book, etc).

Tuesday
Top Ten Tuesday! I plan to begin participating in this, because it just seems really fun. However, I may skip a few if I do not have enough material for the prompt. For example, I am unable to do the one tomorrow as I do not have any books I loved with less than 2,000 ratings on Goodreads. Compared to the seasoned readers out there, I do not as of yet have a lot of books on my read shelf…

*sniffle*

Friday
I will be participating in First Impression Fridays! I have already made one post here.

Saturday
Another book review post!

Sunday
I do not currently have any posts planned for this day yet.

Book reviews may occasionally be randomly posted during the week, either on a day that does not have any posts scheduled, or replacing a recurring post. That’s because I may read more than two books a week.

Then, at the beginning of every month I will be creating a TBR. At the end of each month, I want to make an OTM (Of the Month) post. I did I quick search and did not see anything like this, but let me know if you have seen it because the last thing I want to do is accidentally use the same idea as someone else. The OTM post will spotlight things in the books that I have read that month. Such as Character OTM, Book OTM, Cover OTM, and so on!

I’m not entirely sure I’ll have one this February since I have just begun, but for March I definitely will.

So there you have it!

I’m hoping this blog will motivate me to think more critically as I read books, and of course, I’m looking for like-minded book lovers!

The biggest betrayal my older sister ever committed?

Not getting hooked on books.

I mean… she reads a few nonfiction books here and there, but c’mon! I want those characters, those worlds, that heartbreak… and I don’t want to be alone experiencing all this.
